Galaxian Arcade Game

In this thrilling arcade game, players are on an interstellar mission at the helm of the Galaxip, an armed spacecraft used to ward off the Galaxian army. You’ll play as a fixed shooter who uses the Galaxip, positioned at the bottom of the screen, to gun down approaching alien enemies from various directions. The alien Galaxians will appear as blue, purple, and red spaceships eager to destroy all in their path. In battle, you’ll also face off against powerful Flagship enemies, who you’ll encounter with their two escorts; take out the two escorts before destroying the Flagship to receive maximum points. Be mindful of the Galaxian’s willingness to work together: at the end of each round, they’ll combine forces in a unified attack unless fully destroyed. Galaxian was released as one of Namco’s first games in 1979 and is a predecessor to Galaga.
