Wat is Bete Noir precies?
Lonely and over-protected by his mum's love, a 7-year-old child escapes from his daily routine at night through scary illustrated tales. This way out of reality will quickly become a self imprisonment for the kid where fear and mysterious creatures will hunt him even in the daylight and it will isolate him from the real world. His imagination will lead him to paranoia where public spaces will become a source of anxiety.
